When you donate your used laptops, desktops and other tech equipment, you enable us to support individuals and families desperately looking for help...

I am a new immigrant to Canada and I have 3 children. I am due to start school in September.

My school has informed me that the course will be 100% online. Likewise, my daughters are also doing home school online.

It has been a struggle for us as the only computer we are managing broke down and we have been given a bill of $850 dollars to fix this.

I am currently not working due to COVID-19 and closure of day care centres.

I am making a passionate appeal to be considered for 2 laptops for myself and my daughters to enable us to work at our individual pace without interference.

I am writing to greet you and apply a renewable laptop through your initiative.

I came to Canada as a refugee in 2017 and I have been working in the kitchen area as a dishwasher.

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 pandemic I have not been able to work for 4 months.

It has been difficult for me to access computers due to the fact that the libraries are closed and I would like to have my own to be able to make summaries and send it to different employers.

It is very difficult for me to work with my cell phone and I do not have the money to buy a new computer.

I hope to have your support.

Thank you so much for being so understanding.

I just cannot get over this fear I have of this virus.  I think it is because I now know 2 people close to me who have died of it and one other who is fighting it. I will get over it soon I hope.

You are a wonderful caring person and I am so glad to have gotten to know you.  I am glad to know that I can apply for a laptop later on, thanks.  Thank you for delivering the computer ink and the yellow highlighters to me.  That was so kind of you and I hope it was not too much trouble for you.  I got the business card you enclosed.

I saw the great write up you got in the Guardian as it highlights the great work you  are doing.
