The Kingsview Village-Westway Neighbourhood residents with the support of Let’s Get Together is hosting their 2nd Annual Back to School Supplies Drive from August 1 – 24th, 2018. This drive will benefit students whose families are facing economic challenges while endorsing the value of education in our community.

The Kingsview Village-Westway neighbourhood is a vibrant and diverse community that works hard to ensure that our neighborhood is safe and inclusive despite it being designated, by the City, as an underserved Neighbourhood Improvement Area (NIA) in 2014.  Our mission is to create local opportunities such as the Back-to-School Supplies Drive, that allows  residents and anyone interested to volunteer and help address the arising needs in our community.

Every Hand Counts

We are asking both the local and greater community to help us make this initiative a success. Our goal is to collect 100 filled backpacks to distribute to students in need and provide a full box of school supplies to 10 surrounding schools to further assist those in need of supplies.  Purchasing a kit, a USB key or calculator will go a long way to helping a child and/or youth.  Any donations or contribution is greatly appreciated.
