Our Let’s Get Involved Parent Workshop featuring parent Nicole Pennie was a great experience for everyone. We had our largest turnout to date with parents and their children, NBYMP coaches, the Centennial College Colts Basketball Coaches all in one room, learning together and sharing tips on how to nurture and become a successful student-athlete.

Several research studies show that parent involvement has direct positive effect and outcome on student success. Parent involvement shows children that parents care which inspires them to continue on their journey. Families came away feeling more confident, equipped and focused on how best to work together to achieve their goals and dreams of becoming the best athlete they can be with an education.

A big THANK YOU to everyone for your participation, encouragement and support!
